So it begins ...

This is my first convention.
And so far, it is quite a pleasing experience!

Get up at 5:30am

I know we went to bed at 1:30am yesterday (this morning, if you want to get technical with me), but it was an evening with long time forum friends, all of them (but one) I had never seen, but got to know better than some real life friends.

Head to the convention center
Well, Florida weather is hot at 6am too!
Once inside, after a little security screening, we are led into a huge hangar-like room, and given a goodie bag

So here we are, sitting in line, waiting for ... yes a few hours.
